Does your company have the LEADERSHIP in place to hold events/trainings where all you have to do is PLUG your PEOPLE in?
Do your company have a system…a PROVEN SUCCESSFUL SYSTEM in place to duplicate in the field?
Does your company have a PAYMENT PLAN if your don’t have the $$$, but have the desire?
How simple is it & can the average person get to the highest PAID position of your company?

I Am So PROUD of YTB!
If you have been following the travel industry news, you'll know that lately YTB has come under fire. It seems that traditional travel agents have decided that YTB travel agents do not deserve to be in the business of travel and have access to the same travel privledges that they have. Since making this determination, YTB was "discharged with out cause" from selling travel with Royal Caribbean and our IATAN status invalidated by IATA.
You would think that with these things happening to YTB that the company and its agents would be upset and stressed out to say the least. But what has YTB's response been? To get mad? To retaliate? To write nasty letters or make angry phone calls to the perpetrators of these injustices? Absolutely NOT! No. Our response was to BOOK TRAVEL! And book travel, we have. In one single day, November 8th, YTB RTAs booked $13 million in cruises with Carnival Cruiselines. That is more than the entire industry booked on that day. And in three days, we had booked more than $20 million. YTB leaders J. Lloyd Tomer, Scott Tomer and J. Kim Sorensen and YTB RTAs rose to the occasion to prove that YTB is a REAL travel business and we are serious about booking travel!
Naysayers and "haters" believe that because of our business model we should not be in the travel industry. I ask, what does our business model have to do with it? YTB offers people who join our business TWO opportunities. They can pay a one time set-up charge and a small monthly fee and become a Referring Travel Agent (RTA) and essentially have their own travel business with a private-label booking engine and several other retail sales websites that include: flowers, new and used cars, honeymoon registry, sporting events, theater and concert tickets, golf packages, passports and more. They can also pay nothing -- that's right, $0, and be an independent marketing rep with YTB. The IMR or REP, also gets a marketing business website with loads of information about YTB, a company presentation and a back office. They can do either or they can do both. It's 100% up to them.
When you are an RTA, you sell travel and /or the other retail products linked to your main booking website. Who can you sell to? Anybody and everybody. You can market as far and as wide as you choose, and you earn a commission on everybody who goes on your website to book travel or purchase Hannah Montana tickets (for example). When you are an IMR or REP, you do not sell travel... you sell travel franchises. And when you are both an RTA and a REP you can do both. To me, this is a no brainer. I honestly don't see what the problem is in the minds of people who are either so paranoid about YTB being a pyramid or who just in general hate network marketers.
Network Marketing is merely a means of distribution, similar to direct selling. Many businesses have chosen to advertise their products via expensive print and electronic media. YTB, in contrast, has chosen to advertise it's products through what we know to be a very successful means of advertising: word of mouth. We choose referral marketing and instead of paying advertising companies, YTB chooses to pay its REPs.
YTB has as its goal to be THE LARGEST TRAVEL AGENCY IN THE WORLD by the year 2011. And guess what? At the rate that YTB is growing (about 400% annually) we are on target to accomplish this goal. How will we do it? By selling travel franchises to our family, friends, co-workers, etc. As YTB establishes more and more travel franchises around the nation (and soon the world) we WILL be the largest travel business in the world. As it stands now, we are already a force to contend with. That's why we've gotten so much flack from traditional, brick & mortar travel agents.
I am extremely proud of YTB and to be affiliated with this company. I thank my sponsors, AJ & Kiva Akoto regularly, for getting me involved in this business. YTB is a superb business, and if someone you know offers to sponsor you (allow you to join their business) you need to THANK THEM. They have done you a tremendous favor and given you a gift that can continue to give to you and your generations forever.
Another reason that I am so proud of YTB is because in the midst of being underfire YTB continues to WOW the travel industry and the world. I just received word that J. Kim Sorensen, CEO of YTB Travel Network, has been named of of Travel Weekly's 33 Most Influential People. Read the notice that I received:
"Travel Weekly, in an article dated 11/20/2007, has named YTB Travel Network CEO, J. Kim Sorensen, to its list of the 33 most influential people in the travel industry. The article states that the "most influential" list is filled with people who have veered from the status quo and succeeded so spectacularly that they have influenced the course travel is taking in 2007, and will be just as influential in 2008.
"I am truly honored and humbled to be included on this list," said Kim. "Especially since YTB is not about me, but about the great team and the huge network of representatives and referring travel agents that were willing to take a chance on a new way to sell travel. I speak for the entire company when I thank Travel Weekly for recognizing the huge potential of YTB." Travel Weekly's 2007 Power List named YTB the nation's 35th largest seller of travel and the 11th largest agency for primarily leisure travel for the year 2006."

THE CREED THAT I LIVE BY: IN EVERYTHING GIVE THANKS!
The longer that I live, the more I realize how important it is to have values and a belief system to live by. One that I live by is, "In Everything, Give Thanks". This creed comes from a Bible verse found in I Thessalonians 5:18. The reason that this verse means so much to me is because I am a BELIEVER. I believe in the goodness of God. I believe in the sovereignty of God. And most of all, I believer that God has my best interest at heart.
For this reason, I believe that it really doesn't matter what happens to us in life, the only thing that is important is that we recognize GOD in that situation. If we can see GOD, we'll be able to also see the GOODNESS of whatever that circumstance is... no matter what.
Does it mean that everything that happens to me is good? By my human way of seeing things, the answer is "no." But aren't you thankful that your way of seeing things is not necessarily THE WAY that it is? What would happen if no matter how bad the situation you were in looked, you sought the "beauty" and the glory in it? Would it change your attitude? Your perspective?
I believe in praising God, I don't care what happens in my life. I've had some things to happen that you certainly cannot "see" -- at least not without having spiritual eyes -- anything good in them. But when you purpose in your heart to "bless the Lord" and to be grateful rather than to lament and complain, the whole flavor and tenor of your life changes. The darkness leaves, and the light comes.
God is a GOOD GOD, and this does not change no matter what happens to me. This is the creed that I live by and that I encourage others to try. So next time something painful or disappointing happens to you, praise God. The next time that the world attempts to drown and to pull you down, start to bless and praise and magnify God with everything you've God. Why? Because you're happy for the pain? No! Because you're happy that in your most painful circumstances, God RULES! And most of all, God is "EMANUEL"... God is WITH YOU in that situation. If God be FOR YOU, He is more than the world against you.
I wrote this because in business, we will definitely encounter challenges. We will even encounter enemies. Some of our competitors will not only slander us but they will hate our very existence. Even people who you thought were your friends, you'll find that they only pretend to support you while secretly they stab you in the back. Today, when I came home from a wonderful YTB training, I faced similar challenges. I received some very nasty emails from traditional travel agents who hate that I'm even in the travel industry as a professional. Then someone that I had welcomed into my business with open arms decided to go elsewhere. Was I disappointed? Sure, but what I did was to begin praising the Lord, because I trust Him, no matter what. God is GOOD and no matter what happens, I refuse to change my testimony. I hope that my testimony will encourage you to do the same.
And the best part? When I checked my email, this was in it: Enjoy!
In Everything. “In everything that I have created, your pain, your struggles and your disappointments, there is beauty. In everything the devil has created, even that which appears to be beautiful, is at its core, ugly." From the sermon, “See the Beauty”

Why Join YTB?
Why Join YTB?
Wondering whether to join YTB? Here are some of the reasons I joined, and some of the benefits I've enjoyed since becoming a Referring Travel Agent (RTA).
No Inventory.
I have been involved in companies before, where I might have loved the product, but I hated having to order products to have drop-shipped to my home that I would later have to lug around in my car to load off on somebody else. With YTB, I love the product (travel!) but I don't have to worry about having any lotions, potions or pills to take up space in my home or my car because all my inventory is on my website!
No Time Limits, No Quotas, No Demotions, No Pressure.
With YTB, there is absolutely no pressure. Whether you decide to build a team or you choose to exclusively work your travel business is 100% up to you. And if you decide that it is in yours and your family’s best interest to build your organization, you can do so at your own pace. And the good news is that once you've completed your First Team (6 Travel Store Sales and 3 Reps) and promoted to your Power Team, you can't go back and you won’t be demoted, nor will you get charge backs for people who may have dropped out underneath you. Instead, your hard work is rewarded well with a copyrighted compensation system that is second to none.
Competitive Pricing.
If you have ever bought make-up from Macy’s or Dillards, you know how expensive it is. And if you’re like me, you’ll especially feel the pain of it when you realize that you could have gotten the same quality of eyeliner or mascara from Walgreens for a fraction of the cost! Or, maybe you’ve been one of those expensive vitamin distributors, selling products that people could pick up from their local Walmart store for less than half the price of yours. That’s one major difference with YTB because our products (cruises, vacations, car rentals, airfare, etc.) are comparably priced with other vendors. So when my family, friends, co-workers and other clients go on my site to book their travels, they can compare my prices to Expedia, Hotwire, Orbitz, etc. and see that my prices are virtually the same or even lower than my competitors. In fact, many have saved money by using my website, including the last flight I booked for myself on my website. I was going from Memphis to Montego Bay, Jamaica, and I saved more than $100 by booking it on my site… plus I earned a commission!
Easy Learning Curve.
I have tried selling juices, vitamins, lotions and other potions in the past. Learning all of the scientific jargon, talking about the studies and giving the product testimonials was a labor intensive process at best. Just pronouncing some of the “tropical ingredient” words for some products was enough, let alone trying to quote statistics. With YTB this isn’t the case. Booking travel online is what 85% of the world is already doing, so pointing people to your website or even learning to do it yourself on your own website is a cakewalk.
Real Travel Perks and Discounts.
Recently I booked a Sandals vacation for 5 days/4 nights for one of my clients for her honeymoon. We got a fairly good deal, but the cost of their vacation still topped $2000. A few weeks ago, travel agents were offered a FAM (Familiarization) trip to different Sandals resorts. That was when I realized just how incredible being an RTA really is. My 5 day/4 night Sandals vacation including airfare, transfers, meals, drinks, gratuities and water sports cost me a total of $394. In addition, being a travel professional affords me the opportunity to request from hotel, car rental and other vendors “travel agent” rates. These rates can be discounted up to 80% off retail.
Easy to Talk About/Easy to Promote.
One of the first things that you learn when you own your own business is that you will have to promote it. No one is going to look at you the day after you become a business owner and think to themselves, “she looks like she just got into the travel business!” No, you will have to market, promote and/or advertise. But when your business is travel, it’s so easy to do. Why? Because virtually everybody, loves to take vacations! If you ask 100 people, what they would do more of if time or money was not an issue, and I guarantee you that 100 times out of 100, the answer would be “travel”. So talking about my YTB business, even with perfect strangers is as simple as discovering that they like to take vacations! But what if you don’t like approaching people, that’s OK too, because I also build my YTB business online. If you want, even without going to hotel meetings or cold call prospects, you can build a viable YTB business. I have certainly had people who have joined my business that I have not even had the first conversation with! This is called “magnetic” or attraction” marketing, and I teach these methods to my YTB TEAM members as well, so they can use the marketing systems that work best for them.
Great Tax Deductions.
Because of the kind of business, YTB is, so many things that you would not normally think of as a tax deduction, can become one when you’re in this business. For example, the last vacation I took, because I am in this business, I can completely write off. But not only that, because I use my computer to market my business on the Internet, when I bought my new computer it was also a tax deduction. You'll need to consult with your tax advisor for the deducibility of expenses based on your particular circumstances, but if your situation is anything like mine, you may be able to save thousands in tax deductions.
All these reasons are above and beyond the fact that you can make a lot of money and have a lot of fun in YTB.

God's Word For Business Success
I am not only in business, but my being business is both an extention of and a reflection of my relationship, love and faith in Jesus Christ. The following scriptures are some that I believe supports our desire to be successful in all of our endeavors. As a Believer, I stand on the Word of God as I trust God to fulfill that Word. I also believe that our first priority must be to honor and obey God in all areas of our lives, and as we adhere to "first things first" all other things will surely fall in place. Below are some scriptures to digest. As we internalize God's Word, it becomes a part of us... the living Word, and as we live by it, it will manifest itself in our circumstances. I encourage you to FEAST and enjoy, for the Word of the Living God is the source and foundation of every good and perfect thing that you will ever have. Blessings, ro
Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 26Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?
And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. (Matthew 6:25-34)
Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper withersoever thou goest. This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. (Joshua 1:7-8)
Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish. (Psalms 1:1-6)
I go the way of all the earth: be thou strong therefore, and shew thyself a man; And keep the charge of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and his testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that thou mayest prosper in all that thou doest, and whithersoever thou turnest thysel (1 Kings 2:2-3)

What You NEED TO KNOW About YTB
I've talked a lot in this blog about the benefits of having a business with YTB. What I haven't done is told you very much about the company itself. Well, here are three very significant things that you need to know about YTB:
1. Our company is publicly traded and regulated by the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC). Why is this significant? Because the SEC, as a regulatory body, does extensive and detailed research on companies to ensure that primarily investors, but also others, are protected against fraud and that businesses maintain market integrity. Just knowing that a company is regulated by the SEC promotes a sense of security in dealing with the company.
2. Our company has 122,000 referring travel agents and we are on target to become the largest travel agency in the world in the next 5 years. Travel is the largest industry in the world and YTB will be the largest agency in the world. It just makes sense to align with a winner and the leader of the pack, especially if your goal is to gain financial wealth and independence for your family.
3. YTB is listed as one of the top 11 travel agencies in the entire world. Again, if you're going to run, you need to run with the leaders of the pack.
4. YTB offers extremely competitive travel booking rates! This is very significant because 85% of all people are now booking their travels online. The good news is that they have no loyalty to the companies they are booking with, so if your friends, family, co-workers and collegues book travel, why wouldn't they book with you if they are getting the same seat on the plane, same room in the hotel, same cabin on the cruise and same rental car -- at a competitive rate? In fact, they will!
The other day I checked prices on my website and on Expedia, Travelocity, Orbitz, Hotwire and Cheap Tickets for a roundtrip flight to Montego Bay, Jamaica. Only on my site was I able to get tickets for less than $300 (actually $294). On all the other sites, ticket prices were more than $400. I didn't hesitate to book my tickets on my site, because not only did I get the best rate , but I will also get a commission check!
5. YTB has two businesses in one. You have a retail travel business AND you have a network marketing business. You can choose to work either or both! There is no fee for having the marketing business.
6. The YTB marketing business has a pyramid structure but it IS NOT a pyramid scheme. Pyramid schemes are ILLEGAL. The mere fact that YTB is publicly traded tells you that it IS NOT an illegal business. Also, if you think about it nearly every business and organization has a pyramid structure. Consider, for example, corporate jobs (CEO at the top, SVPs, VPs, Directors, Managers and Worker Bees at the bottom), churches, the military, real estate companies, nonprofit organizations, and on and on.
I encourage you to do your homework. Check out YTB and visit my website: www.ez4utravels.com or www.ytb.com/ez4utravels

Imagine Yourself Living The Life Of Your Dreams
Imagine yourself …
… sunbathing on the pristine beaches of a Greek isle.....
... gazing on the beautiful Gaudí tilework and stone creations in Parque Güell in Barcelona.....
... strolling through the Secret Room at the Naples Archeological Museum......
... wondering at the treasure trove of historical buildings and artifacts stemming from the Ottoman and Byzantine Empires....
Imagine yourself ...
Seeing the world.
On your time schedule.
With the people you love.
And absolutely no worries.
Imagine yourself...
When money is no object.
When life is FUN again.
This imagery is not fantasy. It's real. It's the reality of those of us who have "discovered" this fantastic company, Your Travel Biz.
Have you ever had a secret that was so good, so rich, so full of life that you were nearly bursting to share it? That's how I feel sometimes about YTB. It is so good. So rich! So full of life and bursting with fun and energy and everything that I've always wanted for my life that I want to tell the world about it. But when I try, I find that people in general tend to be so jaded. So many people have been deceived and wounded that skepticism is everywhere. We are so fearful... of spam and Internet viruses.... We are so burdened with credit card debt.... We are so over-worked and under-paid. Most of us have trouble envisioning that there is anything better for us than the reality we are already experiencing, which is often a life that we're tolerating rather than really living.
But when I joined YTB, I met people who were EXCITED about just getting up every morning and going out into the day. I met people who laugh and smile and have joy all day long. Folks, I don't know what to say to help you see what I see. I just encourage you to take look at the business, the comp plan, the Director's Program (stellar!) the bonuses.... Check it out for yourself. View the company presentations. What you see here can change your life forever. Visit: www.whygetytb.com

HOW TO TRAVEL LIKE AN "INSIDER"
In the past, whenever I’ve heard the term, “travel like an insider” I had no idea what this phrase meant. I wondered, “Who are the insiders?” “How do they travel?” and “How can I become an insider?” It wasn’t until I joined my business, the YTB Travel Network, that I fully understood why this is such a sought after status. So what exactly does it mean to travel as an insider, and what are the advantages of doing so? This post is designed to address these questions so that readers will gain an understanding about the rewards of working in and owning a business in the travel industry, and thus making it possible to “travel as an insider.”
When you travel as an insider, pure and simply, you are traveling wholesale instead of retail. The average person booking travel, at best has access to various Internet travel sites, and when trying to make reservations or travel arrangements, will visit these sites in hopes of finding the “best deal”. But travel professionals have access to the best travel deals in the industry. Not only do they have access to travel vendors that the general public may not have access to (such as man air consolidators), but they also have the opportunity to receive discounts travel (up to 90% off retail), but also we are offered upgrades and other perks. And when you are not only the agent but also the travel business owner, the benefits increase.
What are the benefits of working in the travel industry and particularly of owning your own travel business?
As a travel industry professional, the benefits that you can receive are virtually unlimited. Here are some examples:
Travel professionals can receive travel discounts of up to 80% or more off retail. It is no secret that travel agents and other travel professionals have access to information and websites that can benefit both their customers and themselves. One example involves booking airfare through air consolidators. Air consolidators make purchases of large blocks of airfare and sell them primarily to travel agents at significantly reduced prices. Due to the relationships that travel agents or particular agencies may have with a particular travel vendor, agents can secure rates that are much lower than the lowest advertised Internet rates. Travel agents can also request special rates at hotels and car rental agency, for example, that are reserved for industry professionals by showing their travel credential with their personal or agency IATA number. Recently, one of our travel agents traveled to Las Vegas and stayed at Caesar’s Palace. While the standard room rate was more than $200, the agent was offered the $139 travel agent’s rate. When the agent showed her travel credential, she was offered a complimentary upgrade to the hotel’s $1200 suite. Imagine the savings to this agent who stayed eight days at this luxury hotel!
Travel agents are offered fun and exotic FAM trips. FAM (or familiarization trips) to many exotic and premier vacation resorts are offered to travel agents so they will become more familiar with the vendor’s vacation offer in order to sell them to their clients. For the past few years, brick and mortar travel agencies have closed in record numbers and vendors have a vested interest in encouraging travel agents to inspect their properties. For this reason, travel agents are offered opportunities to visit some of the world’s most beautiful resorts and vacation spots and are given the “red carpet” treatment. Recently, Disney Cruise Lines, in appreciation to travel agents, offered a 10-day cruise to travel agents for only $250. This price, compared to over $3000 retail, seems too good to be true. Another example is actually a trip that I will be taking in October. Sandals Resorts offered our travel agents a 5 day/4 night stay at one of many of their luxurious resorts for a total of $99. This all-inclusive resort that includes all your meals, drinks, snacks, water sports, transfers and more, retails for nearly $500 per night. With my airfare included, the total cost of my trip is still less than $400. It’s clear to see that this is an unbeatable price.
Travel agents are paid commissions on the travels of others as well as on their own travels. This is a great part of being a travel agent because until I became one, it didn’t matter how much travel I booked, the only thing I received at the end of every transaction was a confirmation and receipt. Now, no matter whose travel I book, I receive a commission check! Some vendors will only pay a small (maybe 5%) commission, while others will pay a much larger (up to 20%) commission. The actual percentages depend on the travel agency and the vendor.
When you own a travel business, you have many tax advantages. When your business is travel, your travels in general fall into the category of being a tax deduction. As a travel professional, your hotel stays and car rentals can be qualified as “inspections” simply by completing an inspection form at the conclusion of your trip. As a home-business owner, you can also write off items such as your Internet service, cell phone bill, office equipment purchased, travel mileage, the area of your home where you have your office and more. Check with your accountant for more information on how to take advantage of the many tax benefits you can receive as a travel professional.
How Can You Become a Travel Insider?
Becoming a travel insider is simple, especially today because there are so many online travel business opportunities available. If you search the Internet, you’ll see that many notable business people and businesses have jumped on the band wagon because they understand how profitable travel is now and how profitable it is projected to be in the future. Examples include Magic Johnson, Donald Trump, American Express and Walmart to name a few. Prices can range from $50 to $5000 to own a franchise-type online travel business with the booking engine, travel credentials and other benefits. When I joined my agency, the cost for owning was around $500, which is a very low and reasonable cost to pay for being a business owner. In my business, you not only get the basic travel business, but you get seven (7) websites (marketing, travel booking, YTB Flowers, YTB Cars, YTB Golf, Concert & Event Tickets and Honeymoon Wishes Registry) Also, because you don’t have utility bills, payroll, insurance and many other costs, the monthly overhead is extremely low (only $49.95 a month). This fee includes hosting and maintenance, marketing, licensing, fulfillment of all travel booked on your website and more. For more information on my business, visit my website at www.ytb.com/ez4utravels

Earn Six (or MORE) Figures & Have a Ball Doing It!
We all want to make a tremendous amount of money, at least a six-figure income, and more if we can find a way. In short, Americans have found out that we simply cannot depend on Uncle Sam, social security or any of these other sources to provide for us. so if we want our complete financial freedom we must do something different that what the masses do each and every day: go to work at a job.
The pursuit of financial freedom is fast becoming the crux of the American dream. But how do we get there? Most of us know that it will never happen while working a 9 – to – 5 in Corporate America or on a job working for someone else because eighty plus percent of all millionaires own their own businesses. So what is the key? Well, I’m sure there are several ways to accomplish this goal based on several things that we couldn’t control like raw talent, good looks and good old-fashioned “luck”. But there are some tangible controllable things that we should also consider. I believe the key is in marketing the RIGHT PRODUCT, RIGHT.
So what IS the RIGHT product?
The right product is one that offers an exceptional value to the end user. If the product is of no real substance or value, it will be next to impossible for it to create a profitable and long lasting business for you. There are innumerable products on the market to consider so be sure to evaluate the value of the product (or service) to the client.
What else do you need?
You need a marketing track to run on. In other words, a good company will have an established plan to help you with the marketing process. It should be simple, systematic and as automated as possible to increase your daily sales. It should be easy for not only you but also your team and your clients to utilize.
You need leverage. Every major corporation has built in leverage that the officers of the company benefit most from. As you build your team, you also create leverage and if your business is based on a network marketing concept, through this leverage you will create a greater income for yourself as you also help others to create one for themselves.
Lastly, you need successful people to mentor you. There’s a saying that goes: If three of your friends are struggling, robbing Peter to pay Paul and barely making it, you’re probably the fourth one. People who are successful spend time with other people who are also successful… “birds of a feather”. Mentors who are making six-figure incomes now are your best role models and teachers because they can show you exactly what to do and how to do it.I joined my company for these very reasons. We have a great product, a systematic plan, leverage and some of the most proficient training and support that I’ve ever seen. But the greatest thing is that our business is so much fun! Not only do we get the opportunity to enjoy the industry benefits, but also, it’s easy to talk about with others because it’s something that nearly everyone loves to do. We’re well on our way to earning the living that we’ve dreamed of, and you will be too if you follow this simple plan.
Happy Hunting! Cheers.

Seven Steps To A Successful Home Based Business Opportunity
For years, I struggled with hitting and missing in trying to identify the “right” home based business opportunity. I tried several companies and ended up trying to sell lots of lotions, potions and pills as I worked on my “real” jobs, before finally finding one that both fits my lifestyle and personality. I hope that the research that I’ve done will assist you in finding the right opportunity before you spend a lot of money and waste a lot of unnecessary time. Why is it important to find the right home-based business? In most families, just to make ends meet, alternative forms of income become more necessary. Plus, statistics show that 74% of wealthy people worldwide have their own businesses, many of which are home-based. Adding to this, one of the last best tax write-offs comes from having a home-based business, and of the world’s next millionaires, a great percentage undoubtedly be small home-based business owners.
Unfortunately, this business boom has also opened the way for innumerable scam artists to surface. So how can you identify legitimate home business opportunities? I believe that the key is to discern between home-based businesses that promise wealth, and those that have workable business models that can truly lead to wealth. Check out the listed criteria below. It can help you to identify the perfect home-based business opportunity.
1. Start-up costs – While traditional business costs can be very high, costing literally thousands and thousands of dollars, home and Internet-based business generally cost less than $1000. when you are looking for a home business, look for a business with a low start-up fee and a low overhead (monthly costs). Ideally, start-up costs should be less than $500.
2. Leadership & Experience – The experience and background of the company founders should reflect longevity and stability in whatever industry you will be working in. Look for leaders with proven success, in the industry and/or business that you are considering. Also, look leaders that have leadership skills. True leaders inspire others to follow them. They exemplify the following character traits: honesty, intelligence, concern for and about people, the ability to make decisions, confidence, good communication skills and loyalty. They ensure that people or systems are in place to coach, train and mentor new recruits.
3. Industry – The business industry that you choose should be expanding. If the industry is booming, you’re starting at a good place for your success. You want to stay away from industries that are declining.
4. Compensation Plan – The compensation plan should be one that makes sense and is easy to understand. It should also be multi-faceted, offering many ways of making money. Do not fall for “get-rich-quick” schemes. Seek a workable plan and then ask yourself: How long will it take me to get to the top of the pay scale? What is required to make money? What is the process for upward mobility? Are there ordinary people from every background and walk of life doing well in this business?
5. Participants & Partnerships – Examine the company’s business partners. Who has linked arms with the business. How long they have been in place. Is the relationship sustainable? Great partnerships help to secure solid business foundations.
6. Credentials – Does the company have all the credentials that it needs to operate fully? Is it publicly traded? FYI, companies offer a higher level of security and stability when they are publically traded because they are tightly scrutinized by the US Securities Exchange Commission (SEC). What organizations is the company a member of?
7. Time – How long has the company been in business? Most businesses fail within the initial five years. If the company has passed the five-year threshold, its potential for survival increases with every year.
If you use these seven steps as a checklist to qualify a potential home-based business, you will be more likely to operate a legitimate business that you can succeed in.
